The team would move to Los Angeles in 1946 after winning one NFL Championship in their last year in Ohio. The LA Rams would win another NFL Championship in 1951, and would be a playoff fixture in the ’70s, led by Chuck Knox at coach and the defensive play of Jack Youngblood. Eric Dickerson provided the Rams with more success as their star running back during the ’80s. Once in St. Louis the Rams came close to building a dynasty under the leadership of coach Dick Vermeil and the play of Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, and Tory Holt, winning a Super Bowl in 1999. The team hopes to reach that level of success again in the coming seasons.

The St. Louis Rams play their home games at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri. The dome holds 66,000 fans and is known for how loud it gets during a Rams game. The Rams incredible “Greatest Show on Turf” got its name from the turf at the Edward Jones Dome, and Rams fans will cheer to get that nickname back for the home team this season.
